Dr. Hicks and his Team provide comprehensive eye care through eye exams and eyeglasses, contact lenses and ocular medical treatment for the North Port, Port Charlotte, South Gulf Cove, Wellen Park, and Englewood communities. Each patient is thoroughly examined by Jesse Hicks, Optometrist, in his family owned and operated private practice here in Southwest Florida. In addition to providing a prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses, Dr. Hicks evaluates the retina, cornea, tear production, and optic nerve on every patient, identifying underlying vision problems beyond basic correction.

All questions are welcomed and answered in the exam room or the optical gallery. Specialty Services offered include myopia control, scleral contact lenses, dry eye relief Cataract evaluation, and glaucoma management. Dr. Hicks is available for new and returning patients, as well as annual eye exams and emergencies.

Dr. Jesse Hicks in North Port, FL

Dr. Jesse Hicks

Dr. Hicks has acquired over 25 years of experience as an eye care professional, starting as an ophthalmic assistant while attending the University of South Florida for his undergraduate degree. He continued to add to his optical experience as a lab technician while expanding his knowledge as a student at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. His Floridian roots brought him back to the Tampa Bay Area after obtaining his Florida license to practice optometry.
