We are Restoring Clarity to the North Port, Port Charlotte and Surrounding Communities
We have teamed up with our patient, friend and local Lilly Pulitzer Expert, Ashley HOUSEman of Houseman Team Realtors to help us Restore Clarity to our community. Ashley is a longtime board member of the Homeless Coalition, a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance to families in the area that need a helping hand. Many of these families have school age kiddos that need eye exams and glasses, but do not have the resources to get to an eye doctor or order glasses.
That’s where SeePort Optometry comes in! What better way to practice our mission statement than to Restore Clarity to local kiddos, helping them see the beauty around them? During our annual Anniversary party with the North Port Chamber of Commerce, we asked party goers to support or neighbors by tipping the bartenders at Linksters Tap Room and the staff of Dubz BBQ. With every $20 they received in tips, we will provide eye care and eyeglasses to kiddos in need at nom charge to them. Chamber members tipped over $600! That is incredible! We supplied the Homeless Coalition with 15 vouchers for their clients and will hopefully be announcing a second beneficiary shortly for the remaining 15 kiddo vouchers. So exciting!
Here is how it went:
♥ Party Goers tipped the barterers at Linksters (Who was serving drinks for the party) and Dubs BBQ staff (who served the food) over $600! I bet that was a great Tuesday night for them!
♥SeePort Optometry provided the Charlotte County Homeless Coalition with 15 vouchers to distribute to their clients. These clients will receive a comprehensive eye exam, essential frame and single vision lenses at no charge to them..
♥A second beneficiary for the remaining 15 vouchers will be named shortly, stay tuned!
